Authorities are investigating an incident after over 2,000 Nintendo Switch 2 consoles were reported stolen from a truck en route to a Texas gaming store— with an estimated value of about $1.4 million.

Police investigating the Nintendo Switch 2 theft, discovered while the driver was mid-route in Colorado, said the value of the lost consoles amounts to $1.4 million, per local ABC News affiliate Denver 7.

Earlier this month, a whopping 2,810 Switch 2 consoles were stolen from a semi-truck on its way to a GameStop store in Grapevine, Texas. The theft happened sometime on or before June 8, as the semi-truck's driver discovered the stolen stock around 8 in the morning that day.
