Chicago Sky star Angel Reese had a productive outing in Sunday afternoon's matchup against the Atlanta Dream, but she couldn't get her team over the hump.

The Chicago Sky fell to the Phoenix Mercury on Saturday, dropping their record to 3-9 on the 2025 WNBA season. After what had been an impressive four-game stretch individually, sophomore forward Angel Reese attempted just one shot in the loss to Phoenix, which was a season low.

First, on Sunday, Reese had 19 rebounds, and the Sky loss. That also made Chicago 0-10 in their last 10 games when Reese gets 15 or more rebounds, according to StatMuse. That's not exactly the kind of record you'd want when one of your stars performs her best skill exceptionally well. It actually might make sense, though.
