The Atlanta Braves' decision to call up 20-year-old right-hander Didier Fuentes ahead of the first game of the road series at the Miami Marlins could drastically impact the NL East race in the days, weeks and months to come.

The team announced they're calling up Didier Fuentes and he's listed as the probable starter for Friday night in Miami, where the Braves will kick off a three-game weekend series with the Marlins. The team designated right hander José Ruiz for assignment to make the move.

Atlanta played well on all cylinders as the offense worked to tally eight hits. Ozzie Albies, Drake Baldwin, and Matt Olson each had multiple RBI. Thursday night ended the homestand, and the Braves are off to Miami for a three game set with the Fish.
