Ilia Topuria wants to fight Islam Makhachev by hell or high water. Topuria and Makhachev recently vacated the UFC featherweight and lightweight titles, respectively, to pursue belts in different weight classes. The distance between them won't stop Topuria's chase.

Ahead of his chance to become a two-division UFC champion, Ilia Topuria has few, if any, regrets about his move to lightweight.

Topuria is set to face Charles Oliveira (35-10, 1 NC) for the vacant UFC Lightweight Championship. Islam Makhachev is the current 155-pound titleholder, but he will relinquish the gold once Topuria vs. Oliveira begins at UFC 317 on June 28.
