The United States was working to organize evacuation routes Americans in Israel — as the Jewish state and Iran continued to fire a barrage of missiles at each other. It comes after the embassy revealed it would be shut from Wednesday through Friday in order to comply with Israeli guidance.

The US Embassy in Jerusalem will remain closed for the next three days, the State Department said, as speculation grows that the Trump administration may be on the verge of joining Israel’s attack against Iran.
