Ace Bailey infamously decided against working out for any NBA teams ahead of Wednesday's NBA draft, reportedly in an attempt to steer himself to the Washington Wizards, New Orleans Pelicans or Brooklyn Nets.

Former Baylor guard VJ Edgecombe was selected with the third overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft by the 76ers at the Barclays Center.

Edgecombe is a good pickup for the 76ers, and he could be considered a big guard or a small wing. At Baylor, he averaged 15.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.1 steals per game, as he showed that he can make plays on both sides of the ball.
